GIVING THE GIFT OF LOVE & Companionship WITH MONTANA RAISED

I cannot wait to meet you! My name is Ashley, owner of Montana Raised Doodles. My husband Chris and I are Billings natives and just recently added a new member to our family, Miss Raleigh Rae.

I come with an extensive background of knowledge of training, caring for, raising and loving dogs of all shapes and sizes. I grew up helping my parents breed and raise exceptional Golden Retrievers in my younger years and have become the "dynamic duo" with my moms helping hands when needed. 

As any little girl dreamed, I wanted to become a Veterinarian to help animals in any way I could. With the intent to go to Vet school, I earned a Bachelors degree from Carroll Collage in Helena, MT where I studied Anthrozoology- "the study of the human-animal bond and interaction". During my time at Carroll, I fell in love with dog training after completing a "Canine Training" course they offered -which entailed fostering a dog from the shelter, training her for a year and eventually finder her a forever home. After graduating, I became a Certified Canine Trainer while focusing on every day basic manners (potty training, crate training, basic commands such as sit, down, heeling, loose-leash walking, recall, off-leash reliability, etc.) I eventually began my journey as a business owner in the Dog Training industry while also raising litters of puppies for other reputable breeders- who wouldn't want a dog trainer to raise your puppies right?? Having one-on-one training experiences with both Aussiedoodles and Goldendoodles while also raising those breeds for other breeders, I fell in love with their personalities, eagerness to please, family-oriented demeanor, and trainability- hence why I now specialize in these breeds. 

I have fallen deeply in love with caring for and raising puppies while also being able to incorporate my training expertise to give owners the best start in life. Each of my puppies take a piece of my heart when they leave my home. I love building a relationship with my owners and staying in touch!
